Deep Osaka is my photo series I developed during my first self assign shoot in Osaka which is "Taishu Engeki". These photos were taken during my free time, in-between the show breaks and after the show. I usually walk around shoutengai and everyday I always try to pass a new street to discover new places and try to observe, understand what was happening to this old city. These are mostly my personal observation about the place, my feelings about the place and how I react to the place as a foreign resident in Japan. I understand that I'm only passing, seeing and reacting to what I see. Most of the photograph were taken around Shin-Imamiya, Dobutsuenmae and Tobita. May 2010 Osaka, JAPAN.
